History of Tonka Toy Wrecker or Tow Trucks
Tonka Toys has had a long history of manufacturing two or wrecker trucks. In the early years of production Tonka Toys Labeled their Trucks with a "MM" symbol for Mound Minnesota, this was later changed to "AA" for Automobile Association. In 1956 Tonka Toys used the "AAA" symbol for the Automobile Association of America. This was quickly discontinued as Tonka did not have permission to use the AAA symbol.
