1954 Tonka Steel Carrier Semi Truck 145
The 1954 Tonka Toys Cab over design was unique in 1954 because the lower portion of the dorrs did not have the rolled out lip that was seen in the 1955, 1956, and 1957 round fendered models like this one. This is a very attractive set in green and orange.  This same trcuk and trailer was found in the trailer fleet set for 1954 also.
Large rear bed holds tons of "Steel" or whatever other playroom items needed to be hauled from place to place.
This front shot really shows the beauty of these terrific toys trucks, it is no wonder they have become a popular item to collect. I am looking for Vintage tonka toy trucks in terrific condition like this one.

In the 50's Hardware stores were popular places to find "toys" for dad and thier kids.
